Moroccan Harira soup

  • Blend your tomatoes with your ½ of onions
  • Take a big pot to cook your soup in and add to it the meat, tomatoes and onions sauce, lentils and chickpeas, 3/4 of your chopped cilantro and parsley, celery, tomato paste, salt, pepper, turmeric, ginger powder, vegetable oil.
  • Put your pot on the medium heat for 3 minutes while you are mixing your ingredients
  • Add 1 and ½ litter of warm water to the pot and let it boil until the meat cooked
  • Once the meat is cooked Add more water if needed
  • Add the angel hair or rice and stir well and carefully 
  • Add your beaten egg and stir 
  • Add the mixture of water and floors and stir slowly for 2 minutes to thicken your soup and let it boil for another 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Add the rest of the cilantro and parsley, stir and turn off your heat at the same time.

Harira is the most famous Moroccan soup and, it’s a nutritious and delicious soup that you can not resist. And now you can absolutely make it at home for your family and friends. We consume Harira soup a lot in the month of Ramadan, and it is a must in each Moroccan table as well as in cold nights in winter.
