Moroccan Bissara

  • In a pot put your fava beans, garlic cloves, salt, pepper, Evoo, cumin, and cover it with water 
  • Cook you fava beans on medium heat for 45 minutes and add hot water if needed
  • After your beans cooked use your hand blender and blend it to get a smooth creamy soup
  • Add hot water if needed and let it boil for 5 to 7 minutes 

Serving

This traditional soup is very healthy and nutritious as well as is very easy to make and it does not cost much either. Serve your Bissara soup in small bowls with a pinch of paprika, fresh ground cumin and more extra virgin olive oil to make it more tasty.
